Annually hosted by residents of Mallard Point, the Lame Duck Try-Athlon began in 1999 in the spirit of enjoying the neighborhood's lakes, hills, food and friendships. Though actual distance is shorter than typical triathlons, athletes have called it the most challenging event to participate in of the season.
Headfirst Performance was asked to assist in the management of the Lame Duck Try-athlon in 2014, but the neighborhood and community are still the driving force behind this event. We would like to thank the Mallard Point Homeowners Association for their support and aid in making this such a memorable event year after year.
Lame Duck Is A:
- USAT-Sanctioned Triathlon
