OPEN WATER SWIM CLINIC

When? Sunday, May 9 from 2 pm – 3 pm. Registration begins at 1:30 pm. "SWIM FOR THE ROSES" Remember it’s mothers day!

What? Clinic includes instruction on open water techniques (sighting, swimming in a group, mass start practice) and an opportunity to swim around course buoys with lifeguard oversight.

Where? Taylorsville Lake State Park

How Much? $40 payable in cash or check to Train Smart 3919 Druid Hills Road Louisville KY 40207.

RSVP Required. Space is limited to 20 swimmers and registration is a must. Send an email to Nancy McElwain at nancy.mcelwain@gmail.com if you will attend. We must have a count of attendees.

Directions: Take Exit 32 off 64 (this is heading east from Louisville and west from Lexington)

Head South toward Taylorsville on Hwy 55

Turn left at the stoplight in Elk Creek (you will stay on 55)

Turn left on Hwy 44 bypass (by Spencer County High School)

Turn Right in Taylorsville Lake State Park

Go straight to boat ramp. (if you get wet you have gone to far)

Cancellation? If it is raining or if there are problems with visibility (ie fog) we will cancel the clinic. Cancellation information, if any, will be posted at www.trainsmartmultisport.com at noon on May 9.
